Construction & Performance

Hellwig manufactures the 7842 from solid 7/8-inch heat-treated 4140 chromoly steel for increased torsional stiffness and durability. The three-position adjustable ends allow the sway-bar rate to be tuned based on driving style, vehicle setup, and load requirements.

Installation & Fitment

The 7842 is engineered specifically for lifted Ford Rangers and includes adjustable end links to accommodate trucks with approximately 2–4 inches of lift. It installs using a bolt-on design with no drilling or welding required. 

For a stock-height Ranger, Hellwig uses a different rear sway bar, part #7778.
