Overview

The Bilstein 24-336277 B8 6100 is built for the rear suspension of the 2024–2026 Ford Ranger. It uses a 60mm digressive piston and vehicle-specific tuning to improve suspension control while retaining a direct-fit mounting layout.

The larger 60mm piston and 2.65-inch outside-diameter body provide increased fluid capacity and heat management for rough roads and demanding use. This rear shock is intended for 0–1.5 inches of rear lift; it does not adjust or raise rear ride height.

Construction & Design

The 60mm piston works inside a monotube damper body. Separating the pressurized gas from the working oil helps keep damping more consistent as the shock cycles over rough surfaces.

The 2.65-inch outside-diameter body provides room for the larger piston and additional oil capacity, improving the damper’s ability to manage heat.

Installation & Fitment

• Install in the rear shock mounting locations. Lift springs, blocks, or other ride-height components are separate; shock length must match the actual rear suspension setup.
• Ranger Raptor is excluded.
