FOX 2.0 Performance Front Reservoir Shock – Compression Adjustable – 0-1.5 in. Lift | Ford Super Duty 4WD (2017–2025) (985-26-161)

Part #: 985-26-161

Overview

The FOX 985-26-161 2.0 Performance Series front shock is designed for the 2017–2025 Ford Super Duty. It controls suspension movement in the lift configuration listed below, helping the truck stay composed on uneven roads and off-road surfaces.

A remote reservoir increases the oil and nitrogen capacity, while the compression adjuster provides eight settings for ride tuning. The aluminum body helps move heat away from the working fluid during repeated shock cycles.

Key Features

• 2.0-inch smooth-body reservoir shock.
• Valving developed for the listed vehicle application.
• Eight compression-adjustment settings for ride tuning.
• External reservoir increases oil and nitrogen capacity.

Construction & Design

The aluminum shock body uses a clear-anodized finish for corrosion resistance and heat dissipation. An internal floating piston separates the oil and nitrogen charge.

• Mounting position: front.
• Includes an aluminum reservoir clamp.

Installation & Fitment

• Install in the front shock locations using the mount types listed below. This shock does not raise vehicle ride height; the existing springs and lift components determine the stance.

What’s Included

One front shock. Aluminum reservoir clamp.
