Overview

The FOX 883-26-040 2.5 Factory Race Series rear shock is designed for the 2017–2025 Ford Super Duty. It controls suspension movement in the lift configuration listed below, helping the truck stay composed on uneven roads and off-road surfaces.

The remote-reservoir design brings additional oil and nitrogen capacity to a smooth-body shock. Race-developed, application-specific damping provides more control when a lifted Super Duty encounters uneven pavement, washboard roads, and rough trail surfaces.

A zinc-plated seamless shock body is paired with black-anodized, CNC-machined aluminum components and an external reservoir.

Installation & Fitment

  • Install in the rear shock locations using the mount types listed below. This shock does not raise vehicle ride height; the existing springs and lift components determine the stance.
  • Use the rear lift height when selecting a rear shock; a lift kit’s advertised front height may differ from its rear height.
