Overview

The FOX 987-02-014 2.5 Performance Series front coilover is designed for the 2024–2026 Ford Ranger. It combines a coil spring and damper to provide adjustable front ride height and application-specific suspension control.

The internal floating piston separates the high-pressure nitrogen charge from the shock oil. That separation helps prevent aeration so the vehicle-specific damping remains consistent as the suspension moves over rough roads and trails.

2.5” Impact extruded and CNC machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum one-piece body resists rust over time.

5/8" hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel.

• Extended shock length: 20.5 inches.
• Compressed shock length: 15.3 inches.
• Shock stroke: 5.2 inches.
• Upper mount: OEM.
• Lower mount: Barpin.

Installation & Fitment

• Install in the front coilover locations and set ride height according to FOX’s application instructions. Check alignment, CV angles, and suspension clearances after adjusting front ride height.
• Fits the listed 4WD Ranger application and excludes Ranger Raptor.
