Overview

The FOX 883-06-256 2.5 Performance Elite Series front coilover is designed for the 2024–2026 Ford Ranger. It combines a coil spring and damper to provide adjustable front ride height and application-specific suspension control.

External reservoirs add oil capacity, while DSC EVO provides separate high- and low-speed compression tuning. Its high-speed Variable Valve Control system adjusts damping without adding preload to the shim stack, allowing larger-impact control to be adjusted while retaining small-bump sensitivity.

Construction & Design

The 2.5-inch aluminum shock body uses Type III anodization to resist wear and corrosion. The external reservoir supplies additional oil volume for heat management.

• Upper mount: OEM.
• Lower mount: Barpin.

Installation & Fitment

• Install in the front coilover locations and set ride height according to FOX’s application instructions. Check alignment, CV angles, and suspension clearances after adjusting front ride height.
• Fits the listed 4WD Ranger application and excludes Ranger Raptor.
